High Point Motor Speedway is the dream of several dedicated racers who came together in October 2007 to develop a top-notch racing venue aimed at sportsman racers.

 

HPMS formally incorporated on December 7, 2007. The first Board of Directors was elected on December 14, 2007.

 

We held our first Open House in Kimball Nebraska on December 15, 2007 with over 150 people in attendance. Keep an eye on our calendar as we continue to hold open houses, information meetings and special events to promote the track and raise funds.

 

High Point Motor Speedway, under the direction of the Board of Directors, plans to build a  state of the art quarter-mile dragstrip  facility. The race surface is planned to accommodate all classes thru top fuel. Phase 2 planning includes permanent restroom facilities, concessions stands, scales, etc.….

 

We hold an option on a 1/2 section (320 Ac 1mile X 1/2Mile) of land just south of the junction of I80 and Nebraska 71 in Kimball NE.

 

Although the dragstrip is the primary direction of the corporation; we have room and are entertaining interest from other venues of sanctioned racing considering new facilities on the front range.
