GROUND BREAKING AND OPEN HOUSE: The events went very well with a large number of interested parties showing up for both events!
During the groundbreaking, Greg Dinges, President, spoke of the future of drag racing and how this speedway represents that future. Shelby Vogel, driver of a junior dragster and a 3rd generation drag racer, turned the first shovel of dirt as a symbol of that future.
The Board of Directors would like to extend a special thanks to Automotive Machine and Supply (AMS) of Ft Collins and Lundstedt Automotive for their donations of raffle prizes. AMS donated 2 gift certificates for $100 and $200 of machine labor while Lundstedt donated 2 certificates for time on their dyno machine: 3 pulls and 1 hour of dyno time. Raffle ticket sales were brisk and the winners were very happy!
During the Open House, donations were accepted and Preferred and Common Stock were sold.
BUSINESS PLAN: Ron Colson, well known track planner, has agreed to write our Business Plan. We expect a draft copy soon and will update this site to let you know when you can request a copy.
