Kimball, Nebraska population 2,550, is located in the western panhandle of Nebraska, 20 miles from Wyoming to the west and 15 miles from Colorado to the south. Kimball is also the county seat of Kimball County, Nebraska.

Kimball bills itself literally as the "The High Point of Nebraska!", as the highest point in Nebraska is just out side of town. Panorama Point is located at N 41 degrees 00.461 minutes, W 104 degrees 01.883 minutes, 5,424 feet above sea level, and is marked by a small monument.

HPMS is the dream of several dedicated drag racers that are determined to develop a first class racing complex in Kimball County, Nebraska. The present complex consists of 320 acres under a 50 year lease agreement. The Board of Directors are assigned for a 5 year period. We offer safe, quality, professionally sanctioned racing at affordable prices. We value our racers, their families and our community.
The motocross track was completed in 2009 and is beginning its fourth season of sanctioned racing. It is a member of the Tri-State Dirt Riders Association and has had several events.
Each sanctioned race day hosts an average of 200 riders and their families and friends.
